Being Awarded the Nobel Prize by Anthony - December 2018 Scholarship Essay

The Nobel Prize is given out to people for the work they do in many fields of science, literature, economics, and promotion of peace. If I was on the committee to give award someone with the Nobel Prize that person would have to be very educated and dedicated in their work.
To be awarded with a Nobel Prize is a great accomplishment for anyone. I think someone would have to be very dedicated in what they do to be able to succeed so well that they are nominated for a Nobel Prize. It shows that they worked hard to get where they are and that they deserve to be recognized. That person would have to be high ranking in their organization or work field. If someone were to be awarded the prize for promotion of peace that person would have to have done something great for the whole world. They would have to be driving far enough to actually make a change in the lives of people around the world. If it was being awarded for someone in a field of science they would have to make a huge scientific brake through or discovery. Maybe even invent something that can be used around the world and makes living more easily.
Being awarded the Nobel Prize is not easy. The education some people have to get in order to get where they are in their work would take years. It can also cost them money if they cannot receive financial aid and have to pay out of pocket. It’s easy for someone who is born into money because their parents can help pay for their college so that they will succeed. I think it does not matter the social class or the level of education. Yes, a person does have to have some sort of education to get an award in a science field but I don’t think it can only be the one with the most. I believe the person with the most dedication of the nominees should be given the award not only by what they know but how much drive and confidence they have in themselves so they can succeed.
