Going into highschool will be vastly different from middle school. In highschool, there are additional responsibilities, new classmates and a new, bigger school. Adapting to these new surroundings and setting academic goals will become a supportive resource when I navigate Freshman year of highschool.
When school starts up again, it is surely important to stay organized. I feel like this is an important goal to set for myself since there are more rigorous courses. Because of these courses, it is crucial to get everything done and I would be able to accomplish that by staying organized. When being organized, school work would get done more efficiently and in a less stressful way therefore helping me focus on the work.
My focus tends to be not very good, so when I get back to school I want to be more focused and ready to learn. Gaining focus, the work will get done faster, not procrastinating all the time and in result earning better grades.
Beginning 9th grade will definitely be a challenge since it is so different from middle school with the increasingly rigorous courses, meeting new people and getting used to the tremendous school. But with intentions of being organized, focused and actually following through with the goals set, adjusting will be easier without all the unnecessary stress experienced otherwise.
