Business is arguably the most common major being chosen in college. Why is that? It’s because it has such a vast selection of jobs, surely finding something suitable for almost anyone. With all the jobs available to business majors, there are so many ways these jobs benefit our society. Marketing is one of those majors that plays a crucial role in our society today. From watching tv, to seeing billboards, and seeing companies or stores at every corner. Marketing is centered around it all.

The demand for marketing jobs has increased and will continue to increase through the years. With social media and businesses constantly trying to grow and reach people, marketers are a necessity in a business oriented society. Marketing has been beneficial to everyone by creating a demand for marketers, expanding the need for jobs in our society, and making a consumer economy. Promoting goods and services to people that might not have even known were available to them before. This creates higher sales for businesses and overall economic growth as a society. All of these reasons are apart of why I plan to go into marketing and help benefit our society, not only will I be living out my career dreams but also helping others around me.
