The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn By: MArk Twain by Angeline - July 2013 Scholarship Essay

The best book I have ever read for school was The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn By: MArk Twain. I really enjoyed reading that book because I felt like I was reading a history book. The book takes you back in time and tells you what it was like back then. It shows how bad white people where to blacks and how they were not treated fairly. I had read this book while I was in 5th grade and when I had found out I was about to read it again in 10th grade I was really excited. I'm not much of a reader but when it comes to reading that book I really enjoy it. The second time I had read it I felt like I was able to understand it better because I was older and I already knew a lot about the book. I'm really glad I was able to read this book because it showed me more about how people where treated. It also digs deeper into how people were really treated then than history class does. Another reason why I liked this book so much is because overall it is just a good book. I would recomend this book to anybody.
