My Education Inspiration by Angelina - September 2013 Scholarship Essay

My most inspirational role model is my mother’s step brother Orlando Hoyos. Orlando lives in Miami, Florida where there is always competition in the work place and education matters. Orlando went to Miami University to be an account, he had dreamed to one day work at an accounting firm. During his time in college he worked, went to school, and came home to do relentless homework. Orlando’s schooling last a total of 8 years however, during those 8 years; he lived at home with his parents and was creating a new dream of his own: to have his own firm.
Orlando worked for a few years as an account for a small firm in Miami. He still continued to live with his parents so that he could pay off loans and save money. In a couple years time he saved up enough money and clientele to open his own firm. After he opened his own firm he was able to help his parents (for letting him live at home for so long) and meet a loving wife, Jessy, who even though Orlando makes enough money she chooses to continue teaching in her ESE classroom.
Orlando is my inspiration because right now I am the age he was when he was attending school and building his dream. I hope also to one day get all my goals accomplished and meet a special person along the way as well.
