Education can be interpreted in many different ways and for me, I see it as a gateway. A gateway into a good life, a happy life, and assurance. In today’s world, we are told that we need education to have a successful life. I have adopted this view as my own and I am working towards my goal of having a high paying job that can be achieved by higher education. I want to have the ability to provide for myself and for my family, and I know that can be done by spending the next few years of my life getting an education.
In general, learning is so much fun and is such an important form of entertainment. Education can come in so many forms such as books and stories. As a child I found such comfort in the books I read and I learned so much from each and every one. I carry bits of information around with me that I have tucked away into my head for essays, conversations, and any other scenario. I get to enjoy life in such a profound way because of the education that I was so fortunate to receive. It is because of the media I consume that I get to enjoy my life the way that I do.
In receiving and seeking an education I find a sort of assurance in myself. I feel as if I am assured some form of success in my life, not specifically in a career but in general. Education is such a broad term and can be applied to anything at all. It is a never ending well that can be constantly taken from. You are guaranteed the ability to learn no matter what life stage you’re in. It will always be there and can always be taken from it.
