Business Major by Andrew Jordan - April 2025 Scholarship Essay

I have always been an exceptional student and athlete. I have
worked extremely hard to maintain a good GPA and outstanding grades and become a great athlete.
My goal and dreams are to go to college and make a name for myself and get a degree that will help
me build a better future for myself. My desire to succeed in this lifetime has driven me to better
myself day by day.
Not only has my family helped me pursue my dreams, but I have gained so much knowledge from most
of my teachers and coaches in football, wrestling, and baseball. I have learned to show up when
it is necessary. I have learned to have dedication when needed. I have also learned to be
resourceful on and off the field/mat. I have discovered discipline, grit, and hard work in
academics and sports. All these hardships and obstacles that I have had to overcome have made me the exceptional
person I am today and made me want to excel in everything that I pursue. It has made me want to
become a better person for not only myself but for my family. From school to sports, family, and life
, I want to become something exceptional.
This scholarship will help me achieve these goals and work towards my degree in business
marketing to get the skills I need to make my future possible. It will help me get an excellent
