When walking down the halls of a high school, that you have attended for the last two years, you don’t seem to notice all the things you could’ve done differently. You’d think that it is in the past and it’s only worth those differences would’ve made is to be forgotten. The advice you wish you would’ve gotten from the start can’t help you know so you ignore it. But when placed in a situation where you realize you have a chance for someone to be warned beforehand, like you wish you had been, you have to take the biggest leap you can get. To look new people in the eyes and tell them the biggest secret high school has.
Pick. Your. People. Carefully. These people will be there for the next three years, like it or not. They will be the people you have to cry with or cry for and there will be no way out. This decision will lead to everything else in the next few years of your life including your grades, studying habits, classes you take, and the attitude you give off. If you get stuck with the wrong crowd you have so much higher chances of failing along with them. Picking good friends will let you succeed so much easier and you’ll enjoy doing it too. The people you chose to be friends with during high school will affect your life forever as you chose if you are going to collage and which ones and what you want to do for the rest of your life. The people you surround yourself with mold you into the person you are and I promise you don’t to end up where some people have.
High school can be the best time of your life or the worst. Of course you will still have bad days and some hard tests in some hard classes, but if you have the right people around to support you those won’t matter in the long run. Trust me when I say that it can all go horribly wrong. . . Pick your people carefully, because it will determine who you are and what you will become.
