As an African American female I feel as though the purpose of an education is really important, because it wasn't always available to receive. Therefore every chance I get to educate myself I am eager to do so. Over the years the purpose of education has evolved over time, just like everything else.

I believe the purpose of an education is to not only to expand your knowledge it also gives you a different outlook on things. Education is so fulfilling there is so much in this world to learn. Us as people live totally different, we are so diverse. We can also learn so many things in school that we wouldn't know in our everyday lives. Education is like a never ending story there is so much to learn and when you learn it opens your mind. The more you learn the more your mind grows.

Also education is beneficial in so many different ways. It creates jobs and it gives people information to improve the their skills. Also to help people realize own unique potential and find what direction they will like to go in life. They can also find out what potential they have that they might have not noticed before.
