Imagine yourself in 25 years. How do you see yourself continuing to learn? by Amanda - September 2018 Scholarship Essay

As far as I can see myself continuing to learn in 25 years, I plan on seeing myself graduating from college at the time getting my Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine Degree as a Veterinarian. Not only I plan on just being a Veterinarian but also I’d want to make my own business as a Veterinarian so I can help all kinds of animals, but also help stray animals that are homeless, and in danger out on the streets.
Next, I believe I’ll continue to learn by studying, and understanding more about animals such as there health, the diseases they could get, and also doing procedures to help save animals. Furthermore, being a Veterinarian is a career field I know I’d enjoy doing because I’ve consistently grown up interested in it, also I’ve always been good with animals, and especially I came of age having many animals.
For Example, one of the many pets that we had was a poodle named Lucky. We decided to take him in because he was really starving, cold, and dirty, as time went by we begin to realize when we got the dog he was very ill, and unfortunately, we didn’t have enough money to help him since I’ve grown up struggling in a poor environment. After this experience I knew that I didn’t want any more animals hurt, or struggling, and so that’s when my path to become a Veterinarian commenced.
In Conclusion, I would be honored knowing that in 25 years I’ll continue learning in my life, graduated from college as a Veterinarian, and having my own business helping animals someday because I’ll know that I achieved my goals by working my way up to where I need to be.
