Success is defined as, a person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains prosperity. (Merriam-Webster). Success can be seen in many aspects of our lives, such as our work ethic, extra circular activities, and school projects. To be successful in school projects you must avoid procrastination, and use your resources.
Avoiding a stressful or hard project is something we all have done, or repeatedly do. In a survey 87% of college and high school students admitted it often procrastinating. (StudyMode). Procrastination is a key component in our failure to complete projects to the best of our ability. In order to have the unparalleled out comes we want, an individual must dedicate themselves to their academics. One way to avoid pushing back that project you are avoiding doing is to make a plan, and stick to it. Your plan should include, specific tasks you want to complete, and exact times and dates you want them completed by. Doing this will hold you accountable to execute your obligations. On top of making a plan, to be successful on a school project, you should work in small increments. Doing this will help you focus on smaller individualized, tasks from a shorter period of time.
Another important aspect to be successful on a school project is using your resources effectively. When doing a school project it is vital to ask for help when it is needed. An excellent source to get help from is your peers who are working on the same project as you. They are knowledgeable about the topic, therefore can be beneficial in solving your problems. Our generation has the utmost advantage due to the resources available to us, such as google and other databases.
There are many aspects to being successful in a school project. Two influential ones are avoiding procrastination and using the resources available to you. By using the skills effectively outlined in this essay it will ensure success.
