If you could study abroad, describe how you feel this would positively impact your college education. by Amanda - November 2017 Scholarship Essay

My entire life I have always been amazed at people who come from all over the world. I would bombard them with questions. For example, how is the weather where you are from, why did you decide to
move to Florida, what food do you enjoy and many more questions. They would all ways express the love and passion for there homeland.
For this reason I believe that I could be that positive person who could study abroad and share the positive love of the United states. So offend others hear the negativity of this world. Some hear about the crime, violence, hate and dis function of politics. A person even hears of the hate we have for other who are different then us. However, I would come and share how this little Florida girl would pick orange from my neighbors tree, and how the ocean would sparkle off the reflection of the sun and the sweet aroma of the Atlantic ocean that a person could smell from miles away. In addition, I would express the love we have for our fellow Americans, how we pull together in difficult situation and how we are free to express our views and perspective on life and to have the ability to choose the career of a persons dreams.
All things consider, when you have a perspective from an individual who is from another country a person gets a view outside of the stereotypical thought process of that place. I believe, I would be the positive person to break stereotype and break barriers.
