How can I change the world? What will equip me with the tools I need to serve, and what will empower me with the experience I need to lead? It all begins with a solid education. As a Dual Enrollment student, I have already been exposed to the importance of obtaining a college education, and that has only made me more fascinated in what else there is for me to learn. My primary goal is to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health joint degree. This will allow me to become a strong and knowledgeable community leader who is capable of significantly impacting the health of any community. I am extremely grateful for the Associate of Arts degree which I recently graduated with at no cost. Not every high school student has the opportunity to earn a college degree before a high school diploma, and that is why I have committed myself to giving back to my community what I have so graciously been given. I know that I have quite a few years of college ahead of me, and that taking this step requires an extraordinary amount of courage. It is a privilidge to be able to receive an education. It is fulfilling to know that I am setting an example for my siblings and paving a new path for them to follow. I know that a college education will change, not only my life, but the lives of many others, as well.
