The year 2043. by Alyssa - September 2018 Scholarship Essay

In 25 years from now I will be turning 43 years old. I will hopefully be married with children as well as having thoughts about retiring from my dream job. Well maybe not so much, but one thing I know for sure is there will be a ton of new technology that I probably will need help understanding from my kids. I do not think I will ever lose the passion for learning. Ever since I was a kid I loved to learn new things. I would teach myself new instruments at home just to stay busy learning. Within the next 25 years, I plan on continuing that passion for learning.
Through my dream career and my faith in Christianity, I will most definitely continue to learn. I always want to grow and become a better person than I am right now. In my career, I plan on growing in the company which requires me to always be learning new things. Something as simple as a certain angle or a complex camera, in broadcasting there is always something to learn. Not only will I be learning in my career but also in my personal life with my beliefs. I will always be spending time with God and learning his word. There is always something new to know in the bible no matter how many times you read and analyze it. My love for learning has not stopped and most definitely will not stop within the next 25 years.
