A Well Organized Stress Free School Project by Alyssa - December 2017 Scholarship Essay
In order to be successful on a school project you need to have a well organized plan set prior to beginning the research or information you need to collect. The key to success is having a breakdown of what needs to be done before you start on any part of your project. In order to have a successful, logical school project you need to first break down your project in sections, next research in an organized manner, and finally piece everything together in an effective way that will make logical sense to your audience (usually a teacher).
Depending what type of project you are working on or if you are working with others you need to clearly state what each individual needs to work on or research. Having a uniform way of collecting your resources can be very helpful when you are finalizing your project. If each individual organizes their research in a document or writes details about where or who they collected their data from putting everything together is a much easier task. To begin you need to start by separating each portion of the project into smaller sections. For example the research could be broken down into smaller topics. It is helpful to make a checklist of what needs to be accomplished before you do a final review of your work. When you have separate sections you won’t feel as overwhelmed by the amount of work that needs to be done. Then you can easily move from one portion of the project to the next without getting unorganized or overwhelmed.
When you are completely finished with the research or collecting all the data you can finally piece all of your information together. This is the easiest part of doing a project. To do this you need to look back at the criteria the project entails and make sure you thoroughly covered each part of the project that was assigned. Finally you need create a logical way to organize the project based on how you are being graded and what the purpose of the project is. If you stay organized but give yourself some flexibility with a checklist and the ability to move from one area of research to the next you will ultimately reach your goal of a well organized successful school project.
