College Is Essential And Is Definitely Worth Every Bit Of The Dollar Greens by Allorie - January 2018 Scholarship Essay
Writing utensils, copying endless amounts of notes, working in groups for interesting projects, and finding your meaningful major through certain advancing courses is what attending a university is all about. College is a diverse place where new connections are made each and every day by different professors and undergraduates. Trustworthiness and responsibility is what is expected when completing given classwork and homework assignments. As a senior at Rustburg High School in Rustburg, Virginia and being a freshman at Central Virginia Community College, I have learned the importance of pursuing an educational career for my future. Ever since I was a young child, I have always wanted to attend college and become a doctor, such as an anesthesiologist or a surgeon. Experiencing the thought and perspective of going to a local community college has led me further into exploring more about health sciences for advancement in the medical field. Anatomy, medical terminology, and nutrition courses have helped me gain a more informative view into what I would like to do for the rest of me endeavoring journey. Next year, while going to Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, it will be much easier to comprehend special medical terms and procedures. One word that has a true meaning as to why I would like to attend college is motivation. A main impression as to why I chose this particular term is because of being surrounded by encouraging teachers, friends, and family. Having a purposeful intention in everlasting leadership and confidence is the efficient reasoning of how motivation is portrayed today in society. Pertaining to aspiring positivity, inspiring influences, and consistently persevering through challenging times and barriers is how one structures a foundational outlook on education. Even though it will take a twelve-year adventure to go into medical specialties as a physician, it will be worth every crucial moment in saving and reviving people's lives.
