Education has a significant impact on many lives. When you think about education you think about how much homework and school you go through. In reality, education is much more than that. Schooling is a way to grow yourself and improve your learning skills. Without education, we wouldn't have the power to grow without motivation in school which would discourage us want to go to college for a higher degree.
My computer teacher, Elizabeth Landeck, once told me, “If you don't push yourself to do what you want to do in life, then you're not gonna get very far”. From the day we were sitting in Web Design my junior year, the impact of this quote has pushed me from that day on. Mrs.Landeck is the most polite and respectful human being I’ve met. Whenever any student needs anything she drops everything to support and help them.
Mrs. Landeck is a very important person in my education. During web design, we would have days where we would sit there and she would help students with their homework. Meanwhile, the other teachers would not help us. Without Mrs.Landeck, I wouldn't be the person I am today. This woman has pushed me through decisions in life, as well as schooling. She has taught me many life skills, new ways to do math problems, and easier ways to understand certain books or stories.
Throughout my senior year of high school, Mrs.Landeck is the reason I wanted to come to school every day. If she didn't have a school worth coming to, my education probably would not have been as good. When there is a teacher that wants to help the students, that makes all of us students have a better year. As a result, it makes us want to learn and come to school. Teachers have a positive impact on many students whether it's in Math, English, or Science. Teachers are almost always there for their students.
