Noble Prize commitee by Alexis - December 2018 Scholarship Essay

If I was on the committee judging who was awarded the Noble Prize, I would look for the winning applicant to posses the qualities of leadership, and academic achievement.

The applicant should be a leader. I would look for someone who is very active in their community as well as in their school. They should be involved in extracurricular activities, and also in community service groups and school clubs. I would be looking for someone who is a leader in all aspects of life, not just in one. Things that would stick out to me would be captains of sports teams, high numbers of community service hours, and involvement in multiple clubs, instead of just one.

Academic achievement would be a big part of the process. I would look for applicants that have been able to balance school and outside activities very well. For the winner, I would really base it all on grades received, and AP classes taken, as well as weighed and unweighted GPA. Being able to balance school, and other activities is a big factor. ACT scores would also be a part of the selection process. I would be looking for a well rounded student, who is strong in all aspects of school.

Overall, I would look at leadership qualities, as well as academic achievement if I were to be a judge who picked the winner of the Noble Prize.
