My Roadtrip to Sucess by Alex - September 2018 Scholarship Essay

The career that I plan on achieving, comprises of training in the medical field, in other words I want to become a physician. The reason why I would appreciate this career would not be for the economic benefits, but for reward of promoting, maintaining, and restoring health of other individuals. Not only do physicians practice medicine but help provide preventable treatments to physical or mental impairments. However there are two options I can choose from, first being a regular physician or a sport medicine physician. The current option that seems to interest me is sports medicine since sports are rather an enjoyable appeal. Therefore in 25 years I can imagine myself in this position because this career suits my personality since healthcare has occurred to me as a qualified opportunity.
From where I am currently with high school academics, I have got a long journey to attain this career. The education necessary to earn this spot is having to attend undergraduate school for three to four years and, four more years of medical school. The majors that are required is a major in human physiology and pharmacology. This career is not simply acquired in an instance, it requires years of training and patience. Therefore a skill I will need to implement is patience since, this career is difficult to achieve. If my mental discipline for this career declines then, a post secondary option is software engineering. We are moving into a modern era of technology where more jobs in the future are required to code and program. In this instance my mentality to become a physician is strong, because it best fits my capabilities.
As of now I am focusing on my AP classes so that Universities will look upon my skills and mastery abilities. It all starts with organization in all my classes, because maintaining organization will be a beneficial investment for my future career. An additional factor that will contribute to my career is having patience, because the progress is always the key to success. Finally I believe that becoming a physician will be a challenging new chapter of my life, but it will bring a great influence to the world.
