Mistakes by Alana - November 2018 Scholarship Essay

My senior quote would be “Learn from your mistakes.” That would be my senior quote, because I have so many mistakes that I learned so much from. I really think the mistakes you make in your life makes you the person you are today and in the future. So many people have told me that making mistakes is one of the worst things to do. But really they can be one of the best.
A major mistake I have made in my 17 years of living is never really telling people who I really am. When people ask me who I am I don’t tell them WHO I really am. I sugar coat to people who the real me is; I don’t tell people who I really am, because there are so many people in this world who just judge you. Another mistake would be turning my back on people who I should really trust. I have always had major trust issues so many people have let me down that I just never really let people in.
I really think mistake are a major part in life like yes not every mistake is one hundred percent he best. Don’t overdo your mistakes; there are some people who do things to be rude to your parents because they did give or do what you want them to do. The majority of my mistakes were truly mistakes, but there were some that I did to hurt my parents or to get revenge. I am not proud of them but the past is the past and I have really learned from it. So “ Learn from your mistakes” would be my senior quote in my high school yearbook.
