Senior Quote by Abigail - November 2018 Scholarship Essay

My senior quote would be "There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind." It is a saying by C.S. Lewis. I would use this to describe me as a senior because my social life in high school has always been hard. I struggles in seventh grade with my GPA and grades. It was not until eighth grade I started doing great in high school and coming out of my comfort zone.
During high school I have continuously been hated on or bullied by most girls. Most of these girls I have been friends with at a time in my life and they dropped me like I was nothing to them. They used me for things such as driving them somewhere or I was just someone to hangout with when they were bored. Each time an individual has done this to me, it has hurt my feelings. However, better things always lie ahead. I have been accepted to my number one choice in college.
I cannot wait to begin my dream and spread nothing but pure happiness rather than be stuck in the same lonely spot I have been during high school. I want to be successful and be able to say I did it. Just to show that I can rise above any challenge I come across and still be happy. I don't need other people to be successful, to be successful I need to work hard and not get distracted by other peoples actions. Overall, I will continue to enjoy life and strive to be the best no matter the daily obstacles I have to go through to get there.
