Success in college means that I went out of my comfort zone and strive to succeed in something that I hate or dislike because you can't always run away from your weakness. No matter the circumstances.A great example of this when In September 2009, when we moved to the United States of America. My parents risked everything in the hopes of a better future for my siblings and me I. Coming to America was an opportunity my parents couldn't pass on because, in their eyes, it meant we would have more opportunities to succeed in life. Everyday In class, I felt scared to be called on because of my poor English. So, I promised myself, then, that I would learn English so I could defend myself and help other students who were feeling the same. With one of my teachers' help, I learned how to sound words out. So, every day, I would do my best to improve my reading skills, and when I couldn't understand a word, I would search it in the dictionary and write it down in my notebook and practice it as much as possible. The focus on education has taught me my potential and made me who I am today.

Success means you should always know that failure is not an option. Stay driven and focused on succeeding in everything. No matter what's ahead. Keep running, keep striving and keep achieving because that's what it means to succeed. Don't think about looking back because there are many struggles and hardships.
