Starting high school, I knew from the very beginning what I wanted in a future career. I began taking media art classes which is an academy itself, allowing me to pick a pathway once I began the second year. Starting off I learned basics, figuring out what were my interests and what weren't. From the very start, my eye caught photography. I learned everything from shutter speed to ISO. My teacher would give photography assignments, letting me explore my imagination from a lens. On top of that, using Adobe platforms such as Photoshop and Illustrator has allowed me to bring my creative ideas to life while experiencing an app from a professional level. Going far in the platforms, I was able to pass both exams earning my certifications. wanting to go even further, I joined my school's yearbook and magazine class. I design pages using a different idea every time, write interesting, yet powerful stories that people can enjoy. Technology has changed my academic career for the better. Classrooms aren't just taking notes or filling out worksheets, I use my creativity to the fullest with what I've been able to learn by teachers, classmates, and technology. As a senior in high school exploring my options for college, one thing has never changed, my love for my career; journalism. Without technology, I wouldn't be able to even dream of having a career in Journalism or with any media jobs.
