My parents have always been tremendous advocates for my success. My mother is a teacher in Pinellas County, so both educational emphasis and routine discipline are a fundamental part of my life. Over time, I have realized that continually improving my focus on education is what provides the achievement of my future goals. My father, an aeronautical engineer, has provided me with the foresight to understand that both logic and reasoning are necessary to form key decisions.

I have volunteered with the Tarpon Springs Recreation Department and this experience has provided me an opportunity to participate in community events from set-up to break-down.
I realize how the importance of planning each event continues through the organization and implementation process, which is a necessity to ensure a community will be able to participate and benefit in fun, well-planned, and successful events. As a public relations major, these experiences are continuing to provide me the knowledge required in order to assist members of my community in creating special campaigns and events.

My first working experience involved serving as a hostess at a local restaurant, which gave me an opportunity to make personal connections with patrons and also establish relationships with consumers. It was this position that led me to obtain my current position as a guest relations team member with the NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I hope to secure an advanced college internship with the Buccaneers, so it is extremely important for me to demonstrate I’m a confident and fully engaged ‘team player’ working for this dynamic organization.

My future goals include earning a Master’s degree in social media from the University of Florida, so I am concurrently working as a media marketing assistant for a local real estate agent. Currently, I prepare the monthly newsletter and I’m demonstrating to the agent how social media platforms will benefit when marketing homes.

My dream job would be to use the above skills that I have already obtained accompanied by securing the above mentioned degrees to land a job as a social media marketing representative for a large corporation, a professional sports team, or a private figure. I enjoy helping people to be successful in what they do, by being successful in what I do.
