Washington by Aarica - January 2016 Scholarship Essay

5,4,3,2,1. HAPPY NEW YEAR! New years resolutions are something people make all around the world. People make all kinds of resolutions. Some breaking that the next day, and some following all the way through into the new year. This is it. This is the year I will be going into college. And I plan to stick to my resolution.

This year my resolution is to become a better student by trying my hardest to get the best grades I can. And making it an objective to work hard to understand the things that challenge me. Also being organized is going to help me a lot through the 2016 school year. Towards the end of 2016 I will be headed off to college and I can not wait to the new things I am going to experience. Being organized will make the transition easier for me and I will be able to do my best and have a budget so I can know what to spend my money on.

I am excited for the challenges I will be facing in the new school year. And the steps I will be taking into my future I could not be more happy to start this new chapter in my life. I eager to see how much I grow and achieve in these next four years. I am going to do my best to stay organized and strive to get the best grades I possibly. Cheers to the new year.
