What aspect of your education are you most thankful for? by Aaminah - November 2020 Scholarship Essay
I am most thankful for the privilege of being able to have access to education. This is because many individuals are not blessed with the opportunity to have education in their lives due to special circumstances which does not allow them to become educated. The privilege of attending a school and having the ability to choose which subjects you want to take and the delightful teachers that are there to support you every step of the way. I am also extremely grateful for my friends who are there to support me when I am struggling and need assistance on schoolwork. They are willing to be there for me and I am thankful to educate myself around these amazing individuals.
The quality of education I receive is something I am also thankful for such as the equality in school and well-educated staff. I am grateful for the opportunity to attend a school which offers a high level of education such as the different AP courses I am able to choose from and the educated staff members that are able to teach this difficult content. These teachers teach rigorous college level courses which is something that is not facile to teach. Thus, I am thankful for these teachers because they are constantly there for their students in times of need. Their dedication towards their students is what makes me extremely thankful to have them because they are never willing to give up on their students. Education is something I highly prioritize, and I am grateful because I have learned that the hard work and perseverance I put into school is going to pay off because it is leading me to pursue my career.
Therefore, I am most thankful for the privilege of having access to education, the amazing staff members, and friends which allows me to move forward in my education and encourage me to work harder each and every day!
