I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies with a focus on pre-law. I received my Master of Arts in African American Studies. Since graduation, I have served with AmeriCorps, working in an under-resourced school; additionally, I've worked with adults in Manhattan looking to obtain their GED/TASC- I helped them prepare for their high school equivalency exam. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math and History. In my experience helping students gain better studying habits and organization always seems to help them with their overall school work. I believe education is important, and when gifted the right tools, success is inevitable. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling with friends and family, and volunteering.
