I have taught full time for three years. I have taught preschool, third, fourth and fifth grade students. The last two years I have been in a resource classroom teaching reading and writing. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the student grow and learn. I always tell my students to say "I have not learned that yet," not "I cannot learn that." Learning is a mindset and when the mindset is right, the learning will come. I cannot wait to get the chance to help you learn all that you want to learn.

I love to sew, quilt and travel when I am not at a football game, baseball game, band concert or dance recital of one my five kids. I have traveled to over 15 states and three countries and have had opportunities to shake hands with President George W. Bush Sr. and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
