Hi, I'm Laura. I am a huge science nerd, but in general a knowledge nerd. I have a formal education in Biology, with a Doctorate degree (DDS) in dental surgery. Through my training I mastered the subjects of biology, earth science, microbiology, anatomy, pharmacology, chemistry, etc. my college education was at a liberal arts school, Canisius College, where I graduated cum laude. In that coursework I pursued history, literature, philosophy, and world religions. I love teaching and am very patient and able to tailor lessons to the students individual needs. I understand what it means to be a visual learner, and how hard that can be when a professor only lectures. This is something that I had to overcome in my studies, and really enjoy helping other students not only master their subjects, but also enabling them to perceive and receive information so that they can absorb the knowledge and perform well when tested. When this is done, confidence is boosted, and it's all uphill from there.
