I am an international educator with over sixteen years of experience teaching and coaching in IB schools across the United States, the UAE, China, and Panama. I hold a Master's in Education, a Master's in Sociology, and certifications in General Education, Special Education, ESL, and the Science of Teaching Reading in New York and Texas. I am also trained and certified in the IB PYP and MYP and have served as an IB Coordinator and Instructional Coach supporting teachers, leaders, and students. I specialize in IB tutoring (PYP/MYP inquiry skills, assessments, literacy, and social sciences), academic coaching, organizational skills, reading and writing support, and preparation for NY and TX teacher certification exams. My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, structure, and individualized learning paths. I help students develop strong thinking routines, independence, and the academic habits that lead to long-term success. Whether supporting a struggling reader, guiding an IB student through complex concepts, or coaching an adult learner preparing for certification exams, I create high-quality, targeted sessions that are both supportive and results-driven. Outside of teaching, I enjoy writing, travel, and design of which expand my global perspective and enrich the learning experiences I create. My goal is always to help learners grow with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.
