My youthful energy, creative assignments and love for helping others makes me a fantastic choice for your tutor. I currently teach 5th grade and can't get enough of it! I am certified to teach kindergarten through 6th grade and have many credits in mathematics and special education. I attended Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY for my bachelors degree and then continued to the University of New Haven to earn my Masters in Education. Not only am I confident with content knowledge, but I am also proud of the rapport I have with students and my ability to help those that are struggling succeed. I love to see students that hated reading learn to love it. Additionally, I work hard to make those that find math difficult see the problems in a new way so that they do not feel overwhelmed. I enjoy music, hanging out with family and friends, cooking and being active. I look forward to working together to build a relationship that fosters a love for learning.
