As the oldest of four children I was always asked to help with homework and studying for exams. I found that I love teaching people how to learn; the light that turns on in a student's brain when they finally grasp a difficult concept is very rewarding. I am passionate about math and sciences, and received my Ph.D. earlier this year in Genetics and Molecular Biology. Throughout my life from a very young age I have been helping peers and mentoring younger students from middle school all the way to medical students. I am excited to help teach the more difficult STEM subjects to those who need it most.
