Over ten years' teaching language arts skills in writing, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, creative writing, literary analysis and essays. I enjoy encouraging students to develop good study habits and organizaional skills that will benefit them throughout their academic years. Through assessment, I am able to target learning deficits to develop strategies that target specific student needs and design individualized lessons. These lessons include vocabulary development, exam and test taking strategies, timed writings, and homework help.
