While studying at Relay, I worked at a charter school in Colorado, teaching lower elementary students. In Colorado, I taught many subjects, but I am most passionate about helping students learn how to read and understand basic math. I have seen the difference small group instruction can make on a student's academic performance and overall attitude towards school. School should be a place you are excited to go to, and sometimes if you struggle in a subject, it can taint the whole experience. I want to foster a love for learning by helping students feel confident in their abilities to read, write, and solve math equations.

I love to read, take my dog for walks, watch sunsets, do yoga, and eat Chinese food.
