8+ years of tutoring
Stella
- I try to create a chill tutoring environment and want to make students feel comfortable to ask any questions-- no question is a stupid one!
- Additionally, I believe in learning by doing so as a result, much of my sessions will include working through actual problems.
About Me
I am a second year student at the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. I have been online tutoring a variety of subjects and age groups since the start of the pandemic (about 2.5 years) but I especially enjoy working with high school students in math and physics classes as well as ACT math and english. I'm excited to work with you as both a tutor and a mentor!
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of STEM, I love staying active! I have been a competitive dancer all my life and am on my university's competitive club team. Additionally I really enjoy cycling especially around my campus and in the greater Twin Cities Area and am training to run a 10K. I am also very passionate about mentoring younger students and enjoy my UMN Campus Tour Guide and Orientation Leader jobs. Lastly, I love any iced coffee drink and am always open to learning/sharing recipes :)
