I have been teaching and tutoring for about 5 years. At an early age, I developed a deep love for books/learning & was given leadership responsibilities as the middle child of 3, the only girl "Boss" of my family. Motivating others became an innate desire/passion that overtime grew into my purpose and a career. As a teacher, I am blessed to be able to do what I love and it brings me joy. Purpose over power is the drive that lives within my classrooms. Students are not robots and my job is to motivate our scholars to BE the best version of themselves. My desire and push is to teach students to learn, love and continue to be the catalyst for change they want to see in the world. Equity over Equality
