About Me
I became the Teaching Assistant for Behavioral Statistics after earning the only A grade in a class of 60 students. This is where I learned the pleasure of asking intermediate questions, the answers to which would bring the student to the place of competence for the problem at hand. I never considered teaching until years later a friend remarked, "You should consider teaching. I have all the training, but you have all the gifts." I believe in my students. They have beautiful minds and that their priceless presence cannot be overvalued. I have been a preferred substitute teacher with the Clark County School District. Two schools in particular knew they could place me in any class and I could do whatever the teacher had laid out for me no matter who their students were. I have tutored middle and high school mathematics as well as statistics including a PhD candidate and other college students.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy gardening by preparing the soil and photography as well as other arts and sciences. My favorite book so far is S. Chandrasekar’s Truth and Beauty, particularly the first chapter.
