Seeing young people become confident in a subject that they previously had difficulty in is inspiring and motivates me to help children master academics. I graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I am currently working on a Master's at Montclair State University in a Counseling program with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. I tutor elementary school and middle school level mathematics and ELA. My favorite subject to tutor is Math because the rules are easy to explain and breakdown. My teaching philosophy is to ensure that the student would be able to complete the assignment by themselves. Personally, I enjoy reading, drawing, and painting as hobbies.
