My Master's Degree was in Spanish Bi-lingual, Bi-cultural Education. I have a teaching certificate and according to the state of Michigan standards, I am "highly qualified" to teach Spanish, French and ESL k-12. I have taught students from kindergarten through the university level. In addition to working in public and private schools, I have taught language classes at the community college and university level as an adjunct instructor. One great part of my job is to help students who think that learning a foreign language is IMPOSSIBLE discover how easy it can be when they understand language patterns, have the right tools, and the right guidance!

Traveling, gardening, and bicycling are my hobbies. I am also learning to play the piano.
