As a college student, I was a peer counselor, in which I empathetically and nonjudgmentally provided emotional support to others who were struggling with an issue. With these skills, I am comfortable with leading a student through academic material while minimizing frustration and confusion. Furthermore, my undergraduate training in human development allows me to confidently work with others whom are different ages and cultures. These skills help me communicate with a diverse population and serve as positive support through academic challenges.
