I want to use my strongest academic competences and experiences to enhance the learning progress of students seeking a more one-to-one approach to education. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor's of Arts in Chemistry both attained from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 2014. I have a lengthy background in math and sciences, but I have also become a strong writer through academics and personal achievements. My most recent and most rewarding experiences were while living abroad in South Africa in 2013. While there, I volunteered as a lab assistant, travelled quite a bit, and I attended university courses, one of which allowed my to tutor underprivileged youths in the Port Elizabeth metro area. A few other university students (ages 5-18) and myself tutored these students in every subject from math and geography, to English as a second language.
