About Me
I developed a passion for biology at Gettysburg College while researching cell cycle control and DNA damage repair pathways in the common bread mold Aspergillus nidulans. I decided to start tutoring because it is the perfect opportunity for me to share my passion for science and gain valuable teaching experience. The two things that make me a great tutor are my deep understanding of biology and my ability to communicate complex concepts in ways that are easy to understand. My passion for science and education also makes my tutoring sessions a lot of fun for my students. Outside of tutoring I love being active and outside. I am desperately trying to get better at tennis in the summer and racquetball in the winter. You can also see me riding my bike around the city all year round.
