About Me
Prior to moving to Denver I acquired several years of experience as a mentor, substitute teacher, teaching assistant and researcher at the collegiate level. While in North Carolina I attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I conducted my quantitative thesis research at UNCW--which focuses on how educational inequalities perpetuate variations in the ways that individual’s access, use and benefit from Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) & the Internet. Moreover, I completed my undergraduate studies at Binghamton University and, next fall, I plan on beginning a Doctoral program for Information Communication Studies or Sociology. For fun, I have many hobbies--most of which involve being active outdoors and spending time with my friends and family. This past summer I spent a lot of time paddle-boarding at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina—until I moved to Colorado. In August, I finished my move to Colorado and I have spent most of my leisure-time enjoying the outdoors: golfing, running and hiking.
