I'm passionate about helping students succeed in a way that works best for them. I believe in creating a relaxed, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at your own pace. No matter your learning style or needs, I'll adapt to find the approach that helps you understand the material and reach your goals.

I am a pharmacy graduate from Roseman University College of Pharmacy in South Jordan, Utah. I received a Bachelors in Biology from Loyola University Chicago with having a focus in the pharmacy field. Since undergrad, I have always had a passion for Science and Mathematics. It brought me courage, enthusiasm, and confidence to understand the reality and benefits of pursuing pharmacy throughout my academics. I've also had the privilege in helping others to become successful in pursuing their dreams such as helping them pass the NAPLEX. I have helped others in the past in ways to understand that with all the encouragement, knowledge, and support I have gotten from others, I realize I have a gift in tutoring especially in helping NAPLEX students succeed in passing that exam. I will truly tutor them and help them feel so strong and confident in ways to become not just excellent passers but also excellent pharmacists. When I studied the NAPLEX, I was focused more in quality over quantity which is the mentality I plan to pass along to the Varsity students. Throughout my experience in preparing others in study groups for the NAPLEX, we do have fun helping each other. My teaching philosophy mostly depends on what the students need the most help on so that way I can work with them by creating a study plan with strategies to help them succeed such as creating practice test questions for example. During my free time, I enjoy exercising, running, hanging out with friends & family, and playing video games. Even though pharmacy is my passion, NAPLEX tutoring is also my achievement in helping students become incredible pharmacists.
I am a graduate of both Montana State University and The University of Montana. I received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Doctorate of Pharmacy. Since graduation, I have worked for several retail pharmacies across East Tennessee. During most of my career, I have been a preceptor and enjoy teaching students about many aspects of pharmacy, whether it be practicing in the field, providing complete medication reviews, or discussing news laws at both the state and federal levels.
I am a graduate of Salem College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in French and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. I took a year off to work in a pharmacology research lab and then went on to obtain my Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Since graduation, I have worked in a community pharmacy and homeschooled my children until they got to middle school. I enjoyed teaching my children and once they got older, I decided to tutor English to Chinese children. I became a certified ESL instructor and really enjoyed interacting and learning from the as much as they learnt from me. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English and Literature more specifically the ability to think critically and make constructive criticism. I am currently in the process of taking Standardized Tests so that I can help students preparing for Critical Reading and Writing portions of the Standardized Tests. I am a passionate proponent of education, especially kids in K-6 because I believe a strong foundation will enable them to do their best in higher level classes. I believe having a solid education necessary in order to be a well-rounded and productive member of society, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, dancing, walking, and learning new topics like computer/IT.

I'm not tutoring or buried in my textbooks, you will either find me rock climbing at the Triangle Rock Club, playing Ultimate Frisbee, working on my car, or enjoying the great outdoors (beaches, mountains, forests--you name it, I love it). On rainy weekends I enjoy tinkering with computers and old electronics, playing Pokemon, or picking at my guitar.
I am a recent graduate from a masters program in biostatistics at Columbia University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences, with a focus in neurobiology at Northwestern University. In August, I will be starting a doctoral program in biostatistics at NYU. I was a teaching assistant at Columbia University in my department and also have tutored graduate students and undergraduates privately as well. My primary areas of tutoring are math and statistics coursework in addition to math sections on standardized tests such as the GRE and GMAT. I am very passionate about helping students feel more confident and excited about math. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing piano, and spending time with friends and family.
I am a graduate of Wesleyan University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with High Honors. With eight years of experience working in education, I've tutored students in math, science, history, and English, as well as helped students prepare for standardized tests. I've guided adults towards passing the US Citizenship Exam and taught English in India, where I lived for six months. Whenever I work with a student I personalize the lessons to fit their particular learning style, since I know every student is unique and having the right fit can make all the difference in making learning fun and effective. My strengths are tutoring the social sciences and humanities, as well as making math and standardized tests approachable to students that normally don't like those subjects. In my spare time I like traveling, spending time in the outdoors (climbing & backpacking), meditation, and playing soccer. Next fall I will be beginning my PhD in Education at Harvard University.

MPJE builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills that apply across academics and careers. A strong foundation in MPJE opens doors to advanced coursework and prepares students for standardized tests.
Many students find that success in MPJE boosts their confidence in related subjects too.
Common challenges include gaps from earlier material, difficulty with specific concepts, and trouble applying what's learned to new problems. These issues compound quickly in MPJE because topics build on each other.
A tutor identifies exactly where you're stuck, fills in gaps, and gives you targeted practice until the concepts click. That 1-on-1 attention makes a big difference.
Look for someone with strong MPJE knowledge who can explain concepts in multiple ways until you understand. Patience and the ability to adapt to your learning style matter as much as expertise.
