I am a rising sophomore studying civil engineering at Cornell University. I enjoy tutoring math (algebra-calculus 3), high school and college physics, Spanish, and writing. I have experience tutoring throughout high school, where I was the head of a peer-tutoring program. I have continued tutoring in college as well.

I'm available to tutor biology, chemistry, physics, math from Algebra up through AP Calculus, SAT test prep, and French. I've been tutoring students in science and math for 7 years. I also spent 8 months working and studying in France, and have tutored high school and adult students in French. When I'm not working or studying, I love playing volleyball (indoors or on the beach!) and spending time outside, canoeing or hiking with my dog. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

I'm a junior at Yale University pursuing a double major in Linguistics and Theater. I'm a Chemical Engineering graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Class of 2021)mand received a full tuition merit scholarship to attend. I have tutored high school and college students in Math, Spanish, French, Chemistry, and Physics. I got my start in tutoring in high school when I would help my friends study for tests. I realized how much I liked it, and I continued tutoring through college. My favorite subjects to tutor are Math, Chemistry, Spanish, and French.

I am a recent graduate of Drexel University, in which I obtained a BS in Biological Sciences with a concentration in organismal physiology. During my college years, I was a peer tutor who would help struggling classmates in many math and science subjects. I also served as a merit badge counselor in my Boy Scout troop, teaching scouts (ages 12-17) in subjects such as First Aid and Emergency Preparedness. These experiences inspired me to continue this passion, striving to make learning a fun, insightful, and a lifelong process while helping students learn in the easiest and most effective way possible. I am currently working towards a degree in engineering, most recently attending the University of Maryland, Clark School of Engineering as an out-of-state student originally hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I specialize in tutoring all ranges of mathematics. Math and the sciences of physics, chemistry, and biology have always been my strongest areas as a student. I believe my experience as a tutor and understanding of learning processes make me a capable and proficient tutor. My tutoring style is initially problem based. I believe the best way to gauge a student's capability in any subject is to provide questions that reveal the foundation and challenges of the subject being taught. In observing the student's approach to problem-solving and then providing active aid where helpful, I can find where the student is lacking in understanding. From this starting point, I then more directly teach to the issues in developing a complete and applicable understanding of the subject matter. Beyond academia, my main passion has always been athletics. I have played many sports during my amateur career with my longest and most active participation in Ice Hockey. I played in the PAHL for 11 years, the PIHL for 4 years, and the ACHA for 3 years while attending the University of Maryland. I love following the NFL and the NHL. My apologies to the local fanbases, but the Penguins and the Steelers have always been my favorite teams to root for! Outside of athletics I also have a strong interest in all types of games; board, card, and otherwise. I enjoy game theory and have recently developed a passion for chess. I look forward to working with your student and developing their confidence in the subject matter at hand, while growing their ability to better help themself!

I am majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science and a minor in Math. During my time in college, I have tutored and taught underserved students in Computer Science whether they were prepping for the AP exam or first time coding. As humans get technologically more advanced, I am a firm believer in introducing Computer Science earlier in education. Computer Science can be used in almost every field out there. Although I have a plenty of experiences teaching Computer Science, I have also tutored students in STEM subjects, in particular math and physics.

I am a UCLA Bioengineer. I am a well qualified tutor and have had many years of experience in both paid and unpaid roles from 6th grade to 12 grade to present. I have always excelled in academics, math, writing, and english and have scored well on all standardized tests and state tests. I have scored 800/800 in SAT 1 math, SAT 2 math. I have scored 760/800 in SAT writing. I received scores of 5/5 in AP Calculus AB and BC and have taken numerous other APs, passing the APs in Physics, Biology, Literature, Language and Composition, Environmental Science, Economics, US history, and Chemistry. I was the President of my high school's only tutoring club and only math club, Infinity Math Club, where I dedicated my time tutoring struggling students in all math levels.
