I am a graduate of both Western Governor's University and Liberty University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Studies and English Language, and My Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition. I have been an educator for the past 28 years. I am most passionate about English, including grammar, Rhetorical and Literary Devices, and Language, and I also love History. I have taught AP Language and Composition for the past ten years and it is my favorite course to teach. My students have had great success with the course and I have been recognized for my efforts on both the state and national levels. I have also had great success preparing students for the ACT and SAT- Critical Reading and Writing exams. I believe that each family and student should choose their own path to education and I enjoy supporting families in all walks of education including homeschoolers. I have extensive training in several curriculum-based programs and have been rated as a distinguished educator for the past 19 years. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, working at my church, cooking, painting, and reading. I especially love the mountains and hiking up into the national parks during the fall.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in December with a degree in international business management and legal studies. I currently work in Corporate Strategy. I have worked with numerous students throughout my 5+ years of tutoring, each with unique learning styles. I am an excellent resource for students of all ages!Having worked and traveled to 6 continents, I have advanced my communication skills by engaging with people from various cultures and backgrounds. I am well-versed in numerous subjects and am happy to work around busy school schedules.

I am a Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate from Campbell University, NC and have over 10 years of experience in tutoring Mathematics to middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate students.

I received my degree in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University at IUPUI in Indianapolis. I have worked countless hours with classmates and friends tutoring them to prepare for exams and class projects. I currently tutor pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I love tutoring Trigonometry best because trig comes up countless times in engineering and it is now somewhat dear to my heart; however, Algebra is just as important since it is the building block towards something greater. My tutoring philosophy is that learning should be fun. The more you know, the stronger you are as a person. Learning shouldn't be a tedious exercise but an empowering tool. When I tutor, I attempt to inspire, to show the big picture and why this stuff matters by using real world examples that students can relate to. Education aside, I'm sure we have a lot in common. I'm a pretty normal guy who enjoys his down time. I like sci-fi movies and books, video games, biking, and hanging out with my friends. I think school and academics are very important; however, having fun and knowing who you are are just as crucial.

During college, in addition to completing a math minor, I tutored undergraduate and graduate students in statistics. I've also worked as a college instructor, and am familiar with learning processes.
