I'm a junior at Tulane University studying Latin American Studies and Legal Studies in Business with minors in Spanish and Portuguese. I have tutored international students of all ages, assisted in elementary classrooms, and done peer tutoring in high school and college. I prioritize patience and growth in the learning process and firmly believe everyone has the potential to achieve their learning goals.

I have a deep passion for teaching and learning, and few things bring me more personal fulfillment than witnessing students grow, overcome challenges, and reach their goalsknowing I played a meaningful role in that journey is incredibly rewarding. My experience working with students began in high school, and over the past 15+ years, I've had the opportunity to tutor learners of all ages and backgrounds. These roles have given me extensive experience teaching a wide range of students across diverse learning environments and settings. I tutor in languages (Spanish, English, and Portuguese), mathematics, and sciences (physics and chemistry) at all levels. I find joy in teaching each subject for different reasons. Language tutoring allows for a uniquely personal connectionthrough conversation and cultural exchange, I learn as much from my students as they do from me. In contrast, teaching math and science is thrilling for the opportunity to spark curiosity and excitement in students, helping them unlock new ways of understanding the world. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing video games, reading, and immersing myself in the artsespecially through visits to museums and galleries.

I am currently a student at Stanford University working towards a degree in Management Science and Engineering. I boast a strong background in math and science, but also excel in English and language (my minor). Having spent much of my youth in South America, I am fluent in Portuguese and English, which I have extensive experiencing tutoring students in. I am a firm believer in the importance of a robust education, and I hope I can help my students expand theirs. In my spare time, I enjoy writing and playing music.

I come from a family of educators. My mom, my aunts, my uncle, and my grandparents teach every age group from pre-K to graduate school, so the pursuit of knowledge was always encouraged at my house. I was fortunate to be able to pursue a higher education and graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science. My favorite subjects to tutor are math, physics, English, and computer science related courses, though I enjoy tutoring almost any subject.
