9+ years of tutoring
Breno
- I am currently a Ph.D. student at Harvard University in the department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology.
About Me
My name's Breno. I began tutoring during my undergraduate years at Suffolk University. Through this position, I advised students and coworkers as both a tutor and tutor mentor. I have greatly cherished my time as a tutor because it not only contributed to my growth as a scholar but allowed me to give back to the community by helping my peers succeed. My tutoring philosophy revolves around the students, not the assignments they bring. I believe that a tutor's job is to ensure students improve their own capabilities and are better able to work independently and successfully by helping them understand the problem rather than simply providing a solution. I am very excited to help anyone who wishes to better understand chemistry!
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of grad school and tutoring, I enjoy playing the guitar, finding new artists to listen to, learning languages, cooking and watching a good movie/show.
