About Me

My name is Alissa Kelley, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business from Fort Lewis College. With experience in tutoring and substitute teaching, I have developed a passion for helping young learners grasp foundational skills in subjects such as math, reading, and art. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students can thrive through one-on-one interactions that address their unique challenges. My experience as a mother has deepened my understanding of effective teaching methods, and I take joy in guiding my children through their schoolwork, which has sparked my enthusiasm for tutoring. Whether it's teaching elementary math or guiding students in Adobe Illustrator, I am committed to making learning engaging and accessible. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy photography and art, which enrich my creative approach to teaching.
