My Certified Educator experience is 17 years of teaching English and ESL (English as a Second Language) with an emphasis on Humanities to students 6th grade+ to adults at the collegiate Undergraduate and Graduate levels. In addition to being an Educator to a multitude of students, I have also worked in the Non-profit sector as a non-profit Program Manager for youth development, at-risk students, immigrants learning English, Business English, Grant Writing, college, and graduate school essays and applications, with my commitment to community and helping others. I am "gifted" as a Writer in being bestowed academic scholarships as a result. I am excited to cultivate and deliver my engaging personalized, project-based, and IB (International Baccalaureate) lessons to my amazing students of Varsity Tutors! My passion is in seeing my students learn, achieve, and succeed with meaningful and impactful lessons for student victories. Get ready to thrive!

Outside academia, I enjoy Zumba, ziplining, kayaking, college and NFL football games, meditation, and traveling. Gourmet cooking and making recipes from scratch of Mediterrean, Thai, Indian, Korean, and Mexican cuisines, to me is one of life's greatest pleasures and better when shared.
